Mason High School’s robotics team awarded the Governor’s Positivity Award

Mason High School’s robotics team Tractor Technicians 3655 were awarded the Governor’s Positivity award this past weekend at the FIRST FRC Michigan State Championship. This award was given to the team for their continued efforts to grow robotics in Mason schools, as well as, growing robotics in other schools around the area. Team 3655 has worked to create areas for local teams to meet and work in a cooperative way with each other. Through mentorship and guidance, many teams in the area have been able to be successful in their rookie season, three of those team advanced to the state championship and one will be continuing to the world championship. Team 3655 is dedicated to the process of growth and improvement for robotics in the Mid-Michigan area by being an example of gracious professionalism toward other teams. For this, and many other reasons, the Governor recognized them with the Positivity award.
