 Enrichment guides provide descriptions of classes and directions for registration.

New guides are posted each season  

  • Fall Guide (Sept-Dec classes) posted last Tuesday of July at 6 p.m.
  • Winter Guide (Jan-March classes) posted last Tuesday of Nov at 6 p.m.
  • Spring Guide (April-June classes) posted last Tuesday of February at 6 p.m.
  • Summer Guide (June-Aug classes) posted last Tuesday of April at 6 p.m.

Class Information and Registration

Each class has a minimum and maximum number of participants. To help teachers prepare, please pre-register and pre-pay for all classes and events. Registration closes one week before the class or event begins. Printed copies of the guide are available in the Mason High School Athletic Office.

Please check the schedule for dates when classes will not meet due to school closures or other conflicts. If school is closed for weather, Community Education and the Aquatic Center will also be closed.

No registration is allowed at the door for classes or events unless noted.

How to Register

Walk-in

Please call ahead to schedule a walk-in time at (517) 244-6416.

Confirmation

You will receive an email if your class is canceled or changed. No confirmations will be mailed. If you register online, you may print your confirmation directly from your account.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be issued for classes canceled by Community Education. A $5 processing fee is charged for each class dropped by the customer. To request a refund, call the Community Education office at least two days before the first scheduled class. No refunds will be given after this deadline.

Community Education may cancel or reschedule classes as needed. If there is a last-minute closure, we will make every effort to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed due to building and staff availability. There are no prorated class prices or partial refunds.

Mason residents, age 62 and above, qualify for a Senior Citizen Golden Pass. Golden Pass holders may attend the following Mason Public School functions conducted on Mason Public Schools premises: 

  • Athletic Events
  • Band Concerts
  • Plays
  • Musicals
  • Open/Family Swims

Golden Passes are available in the Mason High School Athletic Office and at the District Administration Office located on the second floor of Mason City Hall.
