Michigan Virtual
Access to free digital content from over 70 online learning courses youth can access from home. The newly free enrichment content was pulled from courses about English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, visual and performing arts, world languages, and more, and includes course content that aligns with the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
Khan Academy
This website is a free resource that has video tutorials, extensive lessons, and assessments in all of the content areas aligned to state and federal standards. In addition, it provides practice for the PSAT and SAT exams.

Capital Area District Library
The libraries are closed but you can still access great e-books and movies with your library card! Libby/Overdrive are just for e-books while Hoopla is on-demand e-books, audiobooks, and movies. For detailed instructions on how to use these services

- Log in to your student Google account.
- Click on the “Waffle”, a gridlike icon found in the top right corner of a Google account screen.
- Scroll down in the many Google apps and select the one titled “Connect Ed”
- Select the class textbook titled “United States History and Geography: Modern Times 2018”
- Select a lesson by clicking on the pull down menus for both chapter and lesson number.

Log-in to your schoology.com account. For most of you, this is the same username and password you use for your MPS computers or Chromebook log-ins. Then find your class under "courses." On the left side, under "course options" you will see tabs such as "Materials" (this will have resources and links to study) and "Updates" (this will have a discussion feed from me and your classmates.)
