At the March 9, 2020 Board of Education Meeting, the Mason Public Schools (MPS) Board approved plans to move forward with the renovation and expansion of the existing tennis courts located at Mason High School.
Mason Middle School, eighth-grade student, Melody Meyer was announced as one of 10 statewide winners of Farm Bureau Insurance’s America and Me Essay Contest. The theme of the annual contest is “My Personal Michigan Hero.” Melody’s essay earned 9th place out of approximately 3,500 essays submitted by students from over 350 Michigan schools.

Mason Public Schools Foundation Gifts $110,000 to Mason Public Schools

Many school districts conduct professional development sessions for staff on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday while students are not in session. This year, the Mason Public Schools (MPS) staff listened to and worked alongside a world-renowned leader in Professional Learning Communities (PLC), Anthony Muhammad, PhD. MPS implemented PLCs in the fall of 2016.
January is School Board Recognition Month. This is a time to recognize the individuals who approach their volunteer work like it is a full-time job and with extraordinary dedication to public schools. They are citizens whose decisions affect our children and build our community.
